    Engineering Team

    Q. What projects/services is your engineering team working on?
    We launched our platform, "Yaaay," in September of 2022. Yaaay bridges the gap between Japanese companies (who are looking overseas to recruit engineers) and engineers from around the world (who are looking to work in Japan) by providing them an interface in which differences in languages do not impede potential employment/recruiting opportunities. By eliminating the language barrier, both the engineer and the company can ensure that all of the information shared with each other is accurate, with no room for misunderstanding. In this way, both parties feel confident during the entire employment process, making this a job board service that provides solutions in two-dimensions. The ultimate goal of this service is to create the best possible job match for the engineer and company, no matter who they are or where they are in the world.
    Q. What technologies are you using?
    We are in the process of developing our new online platform, Yaaay. This platform is a mobile-first online website, but we develop with both mobile and desktop user experiences in mind. Skills in AWS, Laravel, and PHP is perferred.
    Q. What type of engineers work at your company? What is their job content?
    Our team is made up of UIUX designers and development engineers. Most of the engineers have both front-end and back-end experience, with specializations in one or the other. We follow agile methodology to develop Yaaay. As a team, our engineers divide responsibilities and complete tasks within sprints. Since this is a start up product, most of the work our engineers carry out consists of developing from scratch. If you have a passion for creating things from scratch and thinking of new ways to enrich a product, this is the job for you.
    Q. Do you plan on using any new technologies in the future?

    We are constantly working to develop our platform to include better, more useful functions and features. Currently, our platform is made up of mostly fundamental functions. We need all of the help we can to develop our product to reach the highest potential we envision it to have. We plan to use a variety of new technologies down the road, including AI, blockchain, and ML, as we develop our platform into a mobile app.

    Career Path

    We are looking for someone who aspires to hold leadership roles as an engineer, for example Lead Engineer or CTO. We would like someone who will fully commit and take responsibilities over developing our product, Yaaay. If you are pursuing a career that involves developing products from scratch, we believe that this is a great opportunity for you to hone your skills and grow.
